Jim’s Cottage and Mary’s Cottages are nestled under Grindsbrook Booth, (or Edale Village as most people know it) which is just a short drive from Ollerbrook farm. The two Bunkhouse are on the farm itself.
The farm is a traditional working hill farm built in the late 16th Century and only a short walk from the beautiful village of Edale with it’s shops, pubs, cafes and train station which is the main line from Manchester.
The Pennine Way starts in the village and also has a network of walks, many that can be done from the cottage door. The two cottages are situated in some of the most beautiful landscape in the Peak District with the back ground of the Kinder Scout.
Both cottages and the bunkhouse make ideal bases for walking, mountain biking and climbing. There are many attractions around the Peak District National Park, such as the caves and caverns at Castleton, just a few miles away. Chatsworth house, and the attractive market towns of Buxton and Bakewell are also just a short distance away.
